What about condensation?

We have in-built ventilation in all of our units – so if the container is kept dry inside, condensation shouldn’t be an issue. However, if wet or waterlogged items are placed inside the unit this can cause condensation, as water is trapped inside the unit. Please ensure that all your items are dry before going into storage.
 

How much notice do I need to give to move my items out of my storage unit?

We require at least a full calendar months’ notice before you vacate the unit. If you move your items out before this, you will still be charged for the notice time.

How long can I rent my unit for?

​

You are welcome to store your items with us for as long as you like. We do accept payment of up to 1 year upfront with discounts offered, subject to our Terms and Conditions. Our minimum rental period is one month.

Can I access my storage unit directly with my vehicle?

​

Yes – Surrey Storage Solutions are quite unique as we offer drive-up units which gives you the opportunity to unload your items inches away from your vehicle.

When can I access my storage unit?

​

Surrey Storage Solutions is open 24/7, 365 days a year. There are no restrictions on when you can use your storage unit.

Can I get a discount if I pay in advance for long term storage?

​

You can prepay for any length of time, we offer a 5% discount on 6 months and 10% on 12 months.

How do I get into the storage facility?

​

Once you have paid for your storage unit, you will receive a unique access code that will allow you entry.

​

How do I lock my unit?

​

You will need to provide your own lock for your unit and you are responsible for locking it securely.
